Dr. Kashif Afzal completed his bachelor’s degree in medical education from Dow Medical College and a master’s degree from the Institute of Environmental Studies in Karachi, Pakistan. He specialized in Occupational Medicine, earning the designation of Member Faculty of Occupational Medicine (MFOM) from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. He was later awarded the Fellowship of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FFOM) in 2016 and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FRCP) in 2020.
Dr. Afzal is also an examiner for the LFOM and MFOM qualifications conducted by the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Afzal is a highly skilled health physician in both corporate and occupational health settings. His extensive experience spans South Asia, the Middle East, and Central Asia, where he has held various clinical, administrative, and executive leadership roles.
Currently, he leads the Occupational Medicine Department at Al Dhannah Hospital, Burjeel Medical City.
