I am Dr. Salma Al Ahbabi, Director of Allied Health. I am responsible for everseeing and coondinating the operations of Allied Health Services, including the day-to-day oporations of the allied health care departments and ensuring coordination with relevant clinical in both region Abu Dhabi and Al Ain region including all satalite clinics in both region , moreover supporting  Al Dafera region  . 
I am a DOH licensed medical physicist and I hold a Masters and PhD degrees in medical physics from Surrey University in the UK. Over the years, I served as counterpart of the UAE for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) projects and workshops. I coordinated many IAEA workshops in UAE that aim in orienting healthcare provides about international standards, practices, and radiation protection and safety.

In mid-2023, I joind Lead@SEHA program and was appointed as an acting Manager of Allied Health in Al Ain Hospital, BSI and STMC Rehab. I was assigned additional responsilities of supervising and supporting other allied health members as part of my leadership career growth. After that, I joined SAKINA’S team as Allied Health Director. My roles incude developing and promoting a business plan with other stakeholders that improve patient outcomes  including responsibility for the development of Allied Health management policies, protocols,initiatives & guidance and implementation of regulatory requirements. Monitoring response to identified issues and facilitate resolution through the relevant organizations as required.

I have been acknowledged in the Future Leader category in Emirati Exceptional Talent Awards, showcasing my visionary leadership qualities and dedication to shaping the future of our industry. This was a true reflection of my vision to be an inspiring leader.
I have been listed from the Top Winners: SEHA Medal 2023 – Al Ain Region in Dedicated long Service Employee. Alongside SAKINA, I am honored to be a part of this platform that aims to empower positive mental health and provide access to holistic mental health care.
