5th Abu Dhabi Integrated Mental Health Conference

Theme: Sustainable Mental Health Care: Preparing for Tomorrow's Challenges Today

The 5th Abu Dhabi Integrated Mental Health Conference (ADIMH 2025) is now accepting abstract submissions! We invite researchers, clinicians, academics, and mental health professionals from around the globe to contribute to this premier event focused on creating sustainable mental health care systems for the future.

This year's theme, "Sustainable Mental Health Care: Preparing for Tomorrow's Challenges Today," emphasizes the need for innovative, equitable, and enduring solutions that address the growing demands on mental health systems worldwide.

We encourage submissions of original research, reviews, theoretical perspectives, and innovative approaches that align with the theme and advance the dialogue on sustainable mental health care.

Submissions should reflect one or more of the following focus areas:

  • Sustainable Mental Health Models: Exploring frameworks and practices that ensure long-term care accessibility and equity.
  • Policy Making and Mental Health: Addressing the role of policy in driving mental health reform and equity.
  • Child and Adolescent Psychiatry: Including school-based programs and interventions for youth.
  • Digital Wellness and Innovations: Examining the impact of technology on mental health care.
  • Workplace Wellbeing and Leadership: Strategies to foster mentally empowering leadership and improve workplace resilience.
  • Neurodiversity and Inclusion: Supporting and advocating for individuals with neurodiverse needs.
  • Integrated Psychiatry in Medical Disciplines: Bridging mental and physical health care across medical specialties.
  • Caregiver and Lived Experiences: Insights and training for caregivers and voices from lived experiences.
  • Nursing and Mental Health: Empowering nurses to lead in integrated mental health care.

Suicide Prevention and Crisis Management: Exploring innovative interventions for prevention and support

Abstracts must follow the standard structure:

  1. Introduction: Brief background and context.
  2. Methods: Key methodology or approach used.
  3. Results: Primary findings or insights.
  4. Conclusion: Implications and relevance to sustainable mental health care.
  • Language: Abstracts must be written in English.
  • Word Limit: 300 words (excluding title and references).
  • A maximum of two abstracts may be submitted per presenting author.
  • Submissions must be original and not previously published or presented elsewhere.
  • Submit the final poster presentation through the conference portal once the abstract is accepted.
  • Posters will be part of the gallery, available on the conference website during event hours.
  • Poster file specifications:
    • Format: PowerPoint (16:9 landscape), converted to PDF.
    • File size: Less than 10 MB.
    • Onsite poster size: 85CM x 200CM – Roll-up Banner Size.
    • File name: Title of the submitted abstract.
  • Hyperlinks and interactive content are not permitted.
  • Submitted files cannot be modified after being uploaded to the portal.
  • Submission Deadline: January 20, 2025.
  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • A presenting author can submit a maximum of two abstracts.
  • The presenting author must register for the conference and attend if the abstract is accepted.
  • Full payment of the registration fee is required by the deadline mentioned in the acceptance email.
  • Accepted abstracts will be published on site and may appear on the conference website or materials without raising copyright issues.
  • The conference committee reserves the right to reassign presentation types or themes based on review outcomes.
  • Previously published or presented work is not accepted.
  • All submissions will undergo a peer review by the conference's scientific committee.
  • Notification of ACCEPTANCE or REJECTION will be sent to the main author by January 25, 2025.

  • Selected abstracts will be presented as posters in both onsite and digital formats.
  • Authors are required to produce posters following conference guidelines (85CM x 200CM roll-up banner size and digital 16:9 PDF format).
  • All accepted abstracts will be published on the conference website and materials.
