Dr. Kahn teaches in the graduate and undergraduate psychology program at Zayed University and was one of the founding faculty members of Zayed University’s MSc. in Counseling Psychology.  In addition to teaching, Dr. Kahn has been a practicing counselor for more than 30 years.  He began his counseling career working with victims of trauma and inpatient treatment of substance use disorders.  The majority of his career has been spent counseling university students and teaching.  Dr. Kahn earned a M.S. in Counselor Education from the University of Wyoming and his Ph.D. in Counseling & Counselor Supervision from North Carolina State University.
