Salama Albooshi is a person of determination, with a great passion for self-development through various hobbies, such as drawing, reading books, and playing the piano. She loves to participate in conferences and exhibitions to showcase her artwork and convey her message to people with determination that they can achieve their goals. She also works on raising awareness about mental health.

Participation: She participated in many conferences and exhibitions, including the first conference she attended, which was the Fourth Abu Dhabi Conference on Mental Health, held on January 28, 2024. She also presented her artwork that expresses the people of determination and explained it to the audience, winning second place!

She also participated in the Emirates Rare Diseases Association conference held in Abu Dhabi on March 2, 2024. She shared her story about her genetic condition, the challenges she faced, and how she overcame difficulties. She displayed her artwork about people of determination once again.

She participated in Word Art Dubai, held at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center on May 4, 2024, where she displayed the eagle drawing.

Then, she participated in the AccessAbilities Expo held at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center on October 7, 2024, at the Emirates Rare Disease booth. They announced the exhibition by displaying her picture while she was painting. She displayed a drawing of the waterfalls of life that illustrates the importance of renewing ideas and distancing oneself from the pressures of life.

On November 13, 2024, the Empowerment Council for People of Determination, affiliated with Dubai Police, fulfilled her wish, and she taught the students of the Protection School of Dubai Police the steps of Cubist art. They painted the eagle step by step.
